This is what the castle in Gross-Gerau looked like from the inside. Sold out with a maximum of 45 tickets plus a travelling whiskey bar ( courtesy of mash-tun.de) it was pretty cosy. This was an all acoustic show in the best acoustic I have ever come across. You will never hear a PA sound as good as those old stone walls.
I played another new song for the first time called ‘Mountainside’, about a recluse who is quite happy living on his own. I was trying to stretch the set list so I could play as many different songs tonight as I could. I think I will manage about 7. So tonight the Kult Klub in Riedstadt-Wolfskehlen will be the last show of a very enjoyable tour, I have met a lot of good people on the way and hope to repeat this trip in a year or so. Tomorrow I begin the long journey home, via a certain supermarket in Flensburg.
