Summer here in Sweden is great, it is worth waiting through the long winter for this short but beautiful season. The lakes are warm the sea is …bracing. I am involved in quite a lot of Swedish folk music too, playing cello with local groups at outdoor events and in chuches. I like to absorb the beautiful old melodies and dance rhythms.
I am looking forward to getting back on the road again in the autumn and playing all the new songs. Starting in Denmark again before a tour of different and interesting venues in Germany. In October I will be back in the UK and have the chance to collaborate with some other artists. Ben Paley played fiddle on the new album and will be joining me at The Green Note in London on Oct 10th. There will also be a double bill at Barnoldswick Music and arts with Virginia Kettle from Merry Hell and we will also do some singing together.
Also in October I will be joining Oysterband and June Tabor for their final tour, so I will be jumping between tours, with the valued help of my tour manager Tom Povey to drive me around. https://www.oysterband.co.uk/tour-dates/
