The first of several guests will be coming into the studio tomorrow. I decided it was time to involve some other musicians on the new album and I am eagerly looking forward to the result. I won’t say any more about the album just now as it is still very much in the process of evolving.

Some touring news. First my UK tour which begins just after Easter; and one more date has just been added, Fat Lil’s in Witney, near Oxford.

Next I will be joining my old band Oysterband in Germany for 5 shows in May. Their regular cello player Adrian Oxaal, can’t make the tour because he is off playing a few dates with his old band James. I am looking forward to this tour, I haven’t seen some of the guys for a few years now. I will also be playing a few solo numbers.

Later in May I start my own tour in Germany and this time the gigs are mostly in the east and north, in a tour that runs until just before midsummer.
