Rowan Godel is the female voice you can hear on many of my records, also on many Oysterband and Levellers records, she also produced a fine solo album a couple of years ago. Rowan was a great collaborator, I had planed more recording with her this year and also a double bill show in the summer. Sad to say, Rowan passed away a couple of weeks ago. I heard the news when I was on tour and I was able to stay in England a few extra days to attend her funeral. There were a lot of musicians and singers there, we had all lost a great colleague, as well as a good friend. Rowan left only good things behind, memories, friendships and some great recordings.
